Project Update & First Playtest!



I released an early look about this ultra-minimalist fantasy TTRPG in March. 

2024 turned into a professional whirlwind, so my focus was prioritized away from tabletop projects until recently.

I've revisited this minimalist project with a major overhaul of the mechanics. 

The level of complexity remains akin to games like Trophy Gold, Maze Rats, and Black Hack.
But now features a simple polyhedral dice-as-stats approach and
a simplified, diegetic (i.e. purely in-world, in-character) method for character advancement.

Not OSR compatible.
Still not a hack of someone else's game.
But quick playing and, I think, pretty elegant.

The implied setting has also evolved.
No longer aiming for vaguely Tolkien meets Celtic myths.

I'm instead pivoting to a weird fantasy setting full of the undead 
and other critterfolk associated with death: vultures, crows, flies.

Look for the updated rules to come in time for Thanksgiving!

(Oh, and likely a name change.)
